Pitt Men’s Basketball
As Director of Creative Content for Pitt Men’s Basketball, I led the program’s visual identity, digital storytelling, and social media strategy, overseeing all photo, video, and recruiting content for a nationally recognized Division I basketball program.
This role combined creative direction, team leadership, content production, and brand management, positioning the program for sustained digital growth and fan engagement.
Leadership & Creative Responsibilities
Full-Service Content Production – Directed and executed all photo and video shoots including game-day coverage, hype videos, recruiting shoots, player features, and branded campaigns.
Social Media Strategy & Management – Managed daily content across social platforms, aligning messaging with team goals, season milestones, and recruiting initiatives.
Recruiting Content Creation – Developed high-impact recruiting graphics, videos, and personalized content to elevate the program’s digital-first recruiting efforts.
Intern Program Development – Built and scaled the creative intern program from one student to a team of five+, establishing structure, roles, and workflow systems.
Cross-Department Collaboration – Worked closely with coaches, marketing, and communications staff to maintain brand voice consistency and ensure campaigns and promotions were effectively executed across social channels.
Community Management – Engaged directly with fans and recruits across social platforms, strengthening relationships and reinforcing program culture.
Media Logging & Archival Systems – Implemented extensive file organization, logging, and archival processes to make footage and creative assets searchable and easily accessible for future campaigns.
Through a combination of sports marketing strategy, digital content production, team leadership, and analytics-driven refinement, I helped elevate Pitt Men’s Basketball’s brand presence across social media while building scalable systems for long-term creative success.
