MOTION DESIGN & GAME PRESENTATION
Pitt Athletics
As a temporary creative hire for University of Pittsburgh Athletics, I served in a versatile production role supporting multiple Division I programs with motion graphics, video editing, and in-game marketing content. My responsibilities evolved based on department needs, with a primary focus on After Effects animation and motion design for live game environments.
Working closely with the marketing and creative teams, I developed high-impact video board content designed to energize crowds and enhance the in-venue fan experience during breaks in game action.
Scope of Work & Creative Contributions
In-Game Marketing Videos – Designed and animated promotional videos for wrestling and baseball that played during timeouts and intermissions.
Motion Graphics & Animation – Created custom After Effects animations tailored to Pitt branding and athletic department standards.
Animated Lower Thirds – Produced dynamic broadcast-style lower thirds for volleyball, elevating live stream and in-venue production quality.
Video Editing – Edited wrestling content for marketing and promotional use.
Multi-Sport Creative Support – Contributed content across wrestling, volleyball, gymnastics, baseball, and football programs.
Each deliverable was built with a focus on fan engagement, brand consistency, and high-energy sports marketing visuals, ensuring assets were optimized for large-format video boards, live event presentation systems, and digital distribution.
By combining sports motion graphics, collegiate athletics marketing, and live event video production, I helped create immersive in-game experiences that amplified the Pitt brand and strengthened the connection between teams and fans.
